When we use galvanized iron wire in various industries, the first thing we need to consider is the hardness. Only when the hardness reaches the standard we require, can we use it. So, what is the hardness standard of galvanized wire?
1, galvanized wire hardness standard is a very important performance index, the most economic test method. But for the hardness of metal materials, there is no unified and clear definition including all the test methods at home and abroad. Generally speaking, the hardness of a metal is often considered as the resistance of the material to plastic deformation, scratches, wear or cutting.
2, in the commissioning of galvanized wire zinc immersion distance, keep the original speed unchanged, according to the time of zinc immersion, steel wire diameter, and then estimate the zinc immersion distance. By adjusting the zinc immersion distance, the zinc immersion time of various specifications of steel wire is shortened by 5s on average compared with that before debugging, so that zinc consumption is reduced, zinc consumption per ton of steel wire is reduced from the original 61kg to 59.4kg.
3. Galvanized wire is dipped in zinc liquid by heating melting, with fast production speed and thick but uneven coating. The minimum thickness allowed by the market is 45 microns, and higher than 300 microns. The color is dark, the consumption of zinc metal is much, the formation of infiltration layer with the matrix metal, the corrosion resistance is good, and the outdoor environment of hot dip galvanized can be maintained for decades.
