Optimized Diameter Specifications and High-Strength Mechanical Properties

Our handle wire diameters range from 2.6mm to 4.0mm, with intermediate sizes such as 2.8mm, 3.0mm, 3.2mm, 3.5mm, and 3.8mm available to accommodate diverse handle design requirements:

2.6-3.0mm Grade: Suitable for lightweight handles like drawer pulls, small cabinet door handles, and appliance control knobs. The slimmer diameter facilitates bending and forming, enabling intricate curved designs.

3.2-3.5mm Grade: The most versatile specification, suitable for interior door handles, window operator handles, toolbox handles, etc. It provides sufficient rigidity while maintaining forming flexibility.

3.8-4.0mm Grade: Heavy-duty specification for security door handles, industrial equipment handles, large storage container handles, etc. The larger diameter delivers higher bending modulus, ensuring no deformation under heavy loads.
All specifications maintain tensile strength within 650-850 MPa. This strength level is meticulously engineered: it provides sufficient load-bearing capacity (e.g., a single 3.5mm wire withstands over 6.2 tons of tensile force) while retaining excellent ductility for secondary processing like bending, stamping, and flattening. Testing confirms that handles manufactured from our wire retain their shape without cracking after simulating 100,000 opening/closing cycles in fatigue testing.

Reliable Galvanized Corrosion Protection

Handles endure prolonged exposure to air, hand perspiration, cleaning agents, and humid environments, making corrosion protection critical. We employ hot-dip galvanizing or electrogalvanizing processes to form a uniform, dense zinc layer on the wire surface:

Hot-dip galvanizing: Coating thickness reaches 15-30μm, forming a metallurgical bond with the steel substrate for exceptional adhesion. Passes neutral salt spray testing (ASTM B117) with 200-500 hours of red rust-free protection, ideal for outdoor doors, bathroom cabinets, and other humid environments.

Electrogalvanizing: Coating thickness of 5-15μm delivers a brighter, more aesthetically pleasing surface suitable for indoor dry environments. Further options include blue-white passivation, colored passivation, or military green passivation to enhance corrosion resistance and provide distinct finishes.
The zinc coating not only provides barrier protection but, more importantly, offers cathodic protection-even with minor surface scratches, the surrounding zinc corrodes preferentially, shielding the exposed steel substrate and extending the handle's service life.

Superior Forming and Processing Performance

During handle manufacturing, steel wire undergoes multiple processes including cutting, bending, stamping, welding, knurling, and tapping. Our handle wire achieves a uniform, fine microstructure through precisely controlled spheroidizing annealing, delivering the following processing advantages:

Exceptional Cold Bending Performance: Withstands tight 180° bends without fracture, ideal for producing U-shaped, L-shaped, and complex curved handles.

Flat End-Face After Cutting: Clean, burr-free end surfaces facilitate subsequent tapping or welding operations.

Superior Welding Performance: Forms strong spot or butt welds with hardware fittings, featuring minimal heat-affected zones and low strength loss.
